“What will you do next?” “Have you studied enough?” “Look at your cousin’s grades.”

If you are a student in Nepal, you know these phrases by heart. Between the pressure of exams, the race for careers, and the expectation to succeed, it is easy to feel like you are drowning in anxiety.

At Kalpabrikshya, we see you. We know that while ambition is good, burning out is not. Here are three simple ways to protect your peace while chasing your dreams.

1. The “5-Minute” Rule

When the mountain of work feels too high, don’t look at the top. Just look at the first step. Commit to working for just 5 minutes. Often, the anxiety comes from thinking about the work, not doing it. Once you start, the fear usually fades.

2. Disconnect to Reconnect

Social media is a highlight reel. You are comparing your “behind-the-scenes” struggles with everyone else’s “best moments.” If scrolling makes you feel inadequate, put the phone down. Take a walk, talk to a real person, or just sit in silence. Your brain needs a break.

3. Talk Before You Explode

You don’t have to carry the weight of your future alone. Talk to a friend, a mentor, or a counselor. Venting isn’t complaining; it’s releasing pressure so you don’t explode later.

A Note to You:

Your grades do not define your worth. Your career path does not define your humanity. You are important simply because you exist. Take a deep breath. You have got this.
