Mr. Padma Prasad Ghimire is a Counselling Psychologist certified by the Central Department of Psychology, Tribhuvan University, and currently serves as the Chairman of SAMMAN. He has specialized training in caring for burn survivors, juvenile justice, and family counselling. He is actively involved in rehabilitation work with street-begging populations through SAMMAN, provides psychosocial support at the Burn Unit of Kirtipur Hospital, and serves as a faculty member for the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (Community Psychology) at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus.

In addition, he delivers psycho-education programs to local governments (Palikas) on mental health promotion, conducts happiness programs in schools, and provides family counselling services. His core passions include promoting happiness at the community level, advancing mental health awareness at the policy level, and contributing to suicide prevention initiatives.
